RESULTS FROM THE 2011 NATIONAL: THE DOCTORS
ROCKED IT!
Dr. Carrie with her 6 yo Mantle VOLTAIRE was the first to qualify in agility. He is sire to three 2 yo girls who rocked it at the National
too, including Dr. Gwen's Mantle KELDA
who picked up 8 titles in 7 days, and Dr. Sue's two girls RIDDLE
& MARQ(ee), who both took Firsts. But let's not forget Dr. Sue's three 9 yo Danes,
who also rocked the National: SHAYMUS, QUIZZY & JOKER (the last two the dams of the 2 yo daughters of Voltaire) were amazing, qualifying in agility &
rally both! See some details below:
"The 2011 GDCA nationals had an impressive showing in AGILITY with 23 entries and Chroma had 7 of them. The theme of the day was indeed black, white and blue with
Chroma taking a blue in each event they qualified in. Voltaire led off with the first Q of the day (& 1st first
place) in OpenP FAST. He demonstrated his athleticism by recovering from a crash over the first jump of the send
(the early am grass was slick) to sail over the second jump cleanly. Riddle followed in her Daddy's footsteps with
getting a Q and a first in Nov B Fast in high style. Standard was again dominated by Chroma with Quizzy winning
first in EXC B and Kelda grabbing the blue in Open. Jumpers with weaves was in the heat of the day, despite this
Kelda repeated her first place performance by winning the Open class and finishing her OAJ--so its on to Excellent
there as well. All of the Chroma crew showed great in spite of temps near 90 degrees. Dr. Sue had a grueling day
with 15 agility runs in addition to 8 rally runs. In the end she let the very willing scrub team run the youngsters
in JWW. Riddle and Marquis quickly let their substitute handlers know they didn't quite cut it, but the subs felt
privileged to give it a shot." (Carrie)
RALLY RESULTS:
Riddle was 2nd (95) in NovB & MarQ(ee) Q'd. Joker was 1st (99) in OpenB (highest rally
score in trial for this 9 yo Harl girl!), Kelda was 2nd (98), &her momma Quizzie was 4th (97) & brother
Shaymus Q'd! What a family affair! In ExB,Quizzie was 2nd (92) & got an RAE leg, 4th went to Shaymus (80),
so also got an RAE leg. What a fine turnout--thanks family!

All three of the Catasticks, Shaymus & his sisters Quizzy & Joker went to the 2009 Eukanuba
Agility Invitational & two again in 2010. Two of the Catasticks also were invited to the 2008 Eukanuba AKC
Agility Invitational & Quizzie went in 2007, along with our Voltaire (sire to her 2009 puppies). So our QT's
mom Quizzie attended 4 years in a row, the last time when she was 8 yrs old & was still then the #1 Dane in
agility. The CATASTICK at nine are in semi-retirement, but still out competing on the Texas scene. At last count
Joker had two legs towards her UD, plus 12 MACH pts, 3 MX & 3 MXJ legs & a new NF title. Quizzy had 106
MACH pts, 2 DoubleQs, 9 MX legs, 15 MXJ lets (her first Masters title) & a new Open Fast title. She has 3 qualifying
scores towards her UD, but only under two judges. Shaymus had 56 MACH points, has completed his MXJ, had 5 MX legs,
& a new OF title. He's also a National SPecialty High In Trial winner, CDX titled with a leg towards his Utility
Dog title. Quite a crew! And watch for Joker & Quizzy's kids by our Voltaire (pedigree below).

This 2002 litter was bred for performance
competition & are out titling & ranked in agility, rally and obedience.

We mourn the loss of their wonderful dam, the original Druidess, a
titled & "Venerable" Dane, at 10.5. Their sire Pirate, who loved<G>her first and best, also
lived to be more than 10 years old. The Catastick girls were bred to Voltaire in 2009.

This is the lighter-marked Harlequin bitch, called Quizzy aka SR Chroma X-Quiz-It Druidess, CDX, RE, MX, AXJ, OF.
Quizzy has attended the AKC Eukanuba National Agility Invitational twice aalready 2007, 2008 & has 100+ MACH
points. She's the small "Speedy Gonzales" of the litter; she was clocked in a Jumper's run at 17 seconds:
she's so fast the camera can hardly catch her.!!
This is the big girl Susan kept, called Joker aka SR Chroma Druidess Joker, CDX, RE, AX, AXJ, NF. She has
her ExcellentAgility titles, working on Masters and MACH pts, plus has her Open (CDX) obedience title & her
Rally Excellent title arleady. She was High In Trial at the Dallas Specialty (194.5 from Open B), and had two 99's,
& multiple high scores with placementsin Rally. Joker is one serious girl, despite her very unserious markings!
She's one of those split-faced Harlequins once seen is really hard to forget....
This is the Harlequin dog pup, called Shaymus aka SR Chroma Druid Shaymus, CD,X RE, AX, AXJ. Shaymus got his
NA & NAJ both in early October 2004 with placements & was 6 for 6 (all Qs) in STD. Then got his OAJ &
OA & easily moved on to excell in Excellent & workiing towards his MACH at this point in Masters Agility.
He also got his CD in early January 2005, then his RN, RA & RE in speedy order. He's working on his UD &
RAE as well as his MACH at this point. PLus he was also HIGH IN TRIAL at the GDCA's NATIONAL SPECIALTY with a 195.

from Pirate's first litter have been ranked in agility, obedience and rally for the past 4 years! Look for more
