BREED BREAKING NEWS!!!
Dina Whitehouse
finished Guidon'd UDX on 4-28-07 a year from the start date, in only 9 weekends showing, & at the same show
(Big Spring KC) where it all began; thus closing the circle on an epic adventure that made Guidon the 10th Dane
ever and only the 2nd male in the breed to achieve the Utility Dog Excellent title. He may also be the oldest out
even working at this level, as he' turned 8 in a couple of months after & ia year later is still robustly healthy!

GUIDON finishes his UD with a FIRST PLACE and a 197!
He then goes on to consistently perform, able to finish his UDX in a year in limited showing and always in the
top five for breed rankings, as well as mostly in the ribbons all breed. And we expect he'll again have a Delaney
ranking too.
He's one of five current Utility titled
Danes and joins OTCH Tilly as the only other currently titled UDX Dane. The only other male to achieve this is
a Tilly relative (Elvis) trained & bred also by Gayle Smith (and ooh-rah to them!)
Guidon's often complimented by top
regional OTCH teams as well as judges & was recently mentioned in a Front & Finish column.

GUIDON was ranked in Open Obedience for the breed &
the Delaney System Top Ten for Obedience for 2004 and 2005. GUIDON has recently joined the ranked & rare group
of UDX Danes, & he has also achieved the coveted TDIA-OV. This is the highest Therapy Dog title. He is also
an AKC ACE (Award of Canine Excellence) Certificate of Honor winner. He is a CHIC certified veteran & echo

This striking Harlequin dog is by BISS CH Michaeldane JB Dagon M T Pockets Ntl, out of CH Michaeldane JB
Advent CD, and is linebred on BISS CH Fraser of Michaeldane N'CO. He is titled in obedience
& therapy work, is CGC temperament tested & an active TDI Therapy Dog volunteer. Guidon is also CHIC certified:
he is OFA Cardiac clear & echo normal at 6 years, OFA hip Good, CERF'd and OFA thyroid clear. His pretty sister
Maud (aka BISS Ch. CHROMA Maid to Order) is a Breed & Specialty Winner from the classes. Frozen, chilled
and live (side-by-side) breedings available upon consultation with the breeder (JP Yousha). Pedigree below. Guidon
is trained and handled in competition obedience & therapy by Dina Whitehouse. The GUIDON (pronounced Guide-On)
is the soldier who carries the flag in a military formation. GUIDON lives on Ft. Bliss (El Paso TX) & shares
his home (as well as his name) with many a proud regiment. This dog had had little opportunity to show in conformation.
He injured a foot severely as a puppy & when his handler & co-owner (Scott Thompson) was just beginning
to show him, sadly Scott died. His focus from then on was obedience & his therapy work & he certainly has
been an <G>overachiever in both fields!

Guidon is a large (36") animal with a rock-hard topline, a long,
elegant headpiece & good bone. He has a sweet, laid-back temperament & is calm and eager to please. (A

a CD and a CDX on him & is now working towards his UD debut. GUIDON and Dina also work weekly at Ft. Bliss,
offering his services as a Therapy Dog to the our soldiers & their families. Dina is the current Director of
