GDCA RALLY RANKINGS: http://www.gdca.org/rallyranking.htm show 3 CHROMA DANES ranked, including #1 Excellent Rally Dane.

GDCA AGILITY RANKINGS (no current link) show 4 CHROMA DANES ranked, including #1 in Excellent A JWW.

THE CATASTICKS SCORE: All three are ranked in agility, obedience and rally! JOKER (SR CHROMA Druidess Joker, CDX, RE, OA, OAJ) is the #1 TOP RALLY EXCELLENT DANE FOR 2005! Her littermates and other family also ranked in agility, obedience & rally.....ORION #10 Dane in Excellent & #6 in Advanced Rally, Joker siblings and sire Quizzie, Seamus & Pirate also ranked. Joker's also #2 in Novice, with Orion and Rosie, Pirate also ranked. ROSIE is #5 Ranked Open Obedience Dane with Joker and Pirate also ranked in Open Obedience, and Joker, Rosie & Shaymus #2, #3, #4 respectively in Novice level. SMAYMUS is #6 in Excellent AGILITY Dane with sister Joker #5 in Open and Quizzie, Orion and Shaymus also ranked at this advanced level, and Orion ranked at the Novice level still.

This is a summary that hits the highlights of what the CHROMA-CREW was up to in 2005. Best of luck to all in 2006!

ORION aka CHROMA Orion of the Red Bluff, CD, RE, NA, NAJ, NAC, NJC, NGC, CGC, tops the "crew" this year in sheer number of titles, gaining multiple agility titles: NA, NAJ, NAC, NGC with legs towards more of the same, also gaining his RN, RA & RE all this year and starting on his RAE. He also has legs towards his CDX & ASCA-CD. Orion was the first Dane to gain a Rally Advanced title & he's ranked in obedience, agility & rally. He also qualified for the USDAA Agility National!

ROSIE aka mutliple and National Specialty High In Trial (HIT) CHROMA Gamble'N'Rose, CDX, RN, CGC, was the "queen bee" this year, gaining multiple HITs on her search for her CDX, having also achieved her CD & RN in 2005, and is ranked in obedience in the Top 5 for the breed. Rosie also has legs towards her ASCA CD & will work towards her UD debut. We can't wait to see what she achieves in 2006!

SHAYMUS and his sisters JOKER and QUIZZIE, all Pirate pups, have got to top the charts in sheer numbers power, as these three littermates all achieved CDs in 2005, all received their RNs & RAs as well, and all finished up their Novice and most of the Open level AKC agility titles to move on into Excellent. Shaymus is also the 2004 National Specialty HIT Dane. Together they gathered up about 20 titles in 2005. And all are also ranked in agility, obedience and/or rally for the breed. That's why they are known as the "Catasticks" as they are fantastic Catrina (their mom) puppies! Mom BTW at 10 is still out trialing and gained her first Rally title in 2005.

Their sire PIRATE, aka BISS Champion CHROMA Thief Of Hearts, CD, RN, OA, AXJ, OJC, NAC, TDIA, CGC, who has 12 titles to date, added in Rally to his repertoire in 2005. He and his daughter Kalei got their RNs on the same weekend, and he'll be moving on to Advanced and Excellent here in 2006, and is working towards his CDX too. He'll retire officially in May (soon to be 8 years old) with hopefully at least 15 titles, but he'll not even then quit working, as he'll still be seen in Veterans (breed and obedience) at least, and he'll still pursue therapy work, a lifelong interest. Pirate's daughters Kalei and Sintti both gained wins towards their Championships in 2005.

His sister FANNY aka CHROMA Forever Mardi Grax, CDX, TDI, CGC, came out late in 2005 to start the hunt for Rally titles & is on her way to her RN. She'll be joined in the ring by the Picabo daughter FRENCHIE aka Champion CHROMA A Kiss For Luck, CD, CGC, who will pursue rally and obedience when maternal duties permit. And maybe PICABO will be out too in 2006.

Many of the Crew continue to serve routinely in the community as THERAPY DANES including Pirate, Picabo, Fanny & Guidon. New photos of some of them working are posted here.

Frenchie's show puppies are out looking for points and all are doing well (see the National report below & their page). One of the litter (Rock) had his CGC before 6 months (they just turned 9 months mid-December), and these little guys will be old enough to start training towards titles at least in 2006. And there should be some Pirate pups like Striker & Posey showing as well as these Picabo grandbabies. And look for Maud to be out in Free Style competiton, her brother Guidon to be on the UD hunt in 2006. We are not many, but we are mighty...mighty happy<G>to be an active crew with staying power year after year!

CHROMADANE

The 2005 NATIONAL:

FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!

ROSIE aka CHROMA GAMBLE N ROSE CDX RN CGC goes High In Trial at the National as well as the AZ specialty from Open A to finish her CDX with back-to-back legs & finished her RN at the National as well! Two new titles in three days of showing with two High in Trials! Rosie and Dina are HOT!

This is the 2d year in a row that a ChromaDane has won the prestigious "HIT" (High In Trial) award at the National.

We brought THREE GENERATIONS to the National this year: two veterans, two 6 mo. old puppies & two multiple titled performance adults all came to show at this year's National Specialty show week. Six of the canine ChromaCrew and 4 of the human ChromaCrew came together & all went home with lots of wins and lots<G>of "loot"! See below for details. Thanks to Mary Lugo, Carrie Burns & Dina Whitehouse (and her boys) for helping me to make for another successful National for the ChromaCrew. Each year we enjoy & succeed! Not the odd winner for us: CONSISTENT QUALITY IS OUR MOTTO!

MORE PHOTOS PENDING.....................

VOLTAIRE aka CHROMA Walking On The Sun & AMOUR his sister aka CHROMA Passionate Kisses v Granite both are in the cuts and/or placements in all their regular classes! (And all while breeder-owner handled; most definitely amateur handling<G>indeed.)

Click on the photos for more photos of each pup.

Every year we've shown at the National our pups have placed in the classes!

MAUD stuns us all coming back to showing like she never left!

She takes a 3rd in an awesome Veteran's Bitch class with her breeder & delights all in Parades as well with owner Mary Lugo (more photos below).---->
And for all who ever wondered, no<G>I am not some small Japanese man, but a tall Texas girl (see above).

Maud & Mary celebrated life & love with this freestyle dance together during Parades. Awesome doesn't even begin to describe this glorious team. Maud has formal photos of winning in Veterans to follow, but the best bit the whole week was Maud taking a turn<G>alone around the ring after this performance as "once is not enough" when you are the show ring ham the Barbie Dane is!

Orion aka CHROMA Orion of the Red Bluff-CD-RE-NA-NAJ-NAC-NJC-NGC-CGC gains his first RAE leg and his first CDX leg at the National, and wins Graduate Novice at well! He takes a placement in Open A behind his HIT sister Rosie too! Plus his box jump routine in Parades is really a show stopper (who got photos...?)!

Picabo aka O-NAC-NJC-CHROMA Trompe L'oeil -CD-OA-NAJ-NJP-CGC-TDIA looks on proudly as her children Rosie and Orion, grandchildren Amour & Voltaire, all kick some sass<G>at the National!

Guidon aka CHROMA Pride of the Regiment-CDX-TDIAOV-RCV-CGC trials in Utility at the National and also participates in the heart clinic. In Utility, he missed a jump, but was otherwise in the 90s in UTA & went "best in heart" as a 36" Dane over 6 years old with a "great ticker"! See his results here.

Two six year olds savor their time at the National Speciatly.

CHECK THIS LINK & OUR DOGS for various details of our other 2005 activities. Not so many dogs, but<G>lots of "boot-scootin'-boogie"! Like the index says we are a small boutique of cherished individuals.
