ONLY FIVE DOGS form any given breed each year ARE GIVEN AN INVITATION TO THE AKC-EUKANUBA NATIONAL TRIALS. LAST THREE YEARS RUNNING HERE IS OUR RECORD: 2007: TWO of that FIVE for AGILITY came from CHROMA & 2008: TWO again come from our BREEDING PROGRAM, plus also we produced THE ONLY DANE IN 2008 ELIGIBLE FOR THE OBEDIENCE NATIONAL INVITATIONAL. 2009 saw THREE of the FIVE competing in AGILITY from CHROMA & the #1 Obedience Dane, only qualifier, was a ChromaDane also.

CHROMA: 2009 RANKED DANES IN DOGSPORTS: ROSIE UDX who has been in the #1 or #2 slot all year, and who was the GDCA Awardee in UTILITY. DARE also is a 2009 Delaney Dane (#2); Rosie is #3 for 2009.
JOKER , QUiZZY , SHAMUS ALL IN THE TOP TEN IN EXCELLENT. VOLTAIRE & ORION RANKED IN NOVICE. ORION was the #1 NOVICE DOG honored by the GDCA at the 2009 National. VOLTAIRE was the only Dane to qualify for the USDAA National. Joker, Quizzy & Shamus all attended the 2009 AKC/Eukanuba National Invitational. This was the 3rd year for Quizzy & the 2nd trip for Shaymus.

Pirate's joined the race....the racing crowd that is.
Seen to the left with his favorite Naval Officer & running partner, they are now competing in regional 5 &
10K races around West Texas. These photos are from the "Master the Mountain" April 2005 race in Big Spring
at the pretty state park on the west side of town. Seen with his 10+ year old mother Tia in the other photo, (who came to offer support, but plans to do some of the 5K walks at least), Pirate's a crowd favorite on the race circuit. These two "boys" are pretty competitive in their<G>over 40 age group, having even taken a First on occassion. They are working on a 7:30 mile, and Pirate's not the hold-up on the team...... |

CHROMADANE: WORKING 2005! GDCA OBEDIENCE RANKINGS showed 4 CHROMA DANES ranked in the Top 10 for 2005 & we had two this year in the Delaney Top 10. GDCA RALLY RANKINGS showed 3 CHROMA DANES ranked, including #1 Excellent Rally Dane. GDCA AGILITY RANKINGS showed 4 CHROMA DANES ranked, including #1 in Excellent A JWW. |
PIRATE IN AGILITY: AN EXAMPLE: In Monroe LA one summer not long ago, PIRATE Q's in 7 of 8 runs, with 3 Firsts & 4 Seconds, and picks up his OA, his AXJ & two legs towards his AX. He was a consistent performer: clean in 7 of 8 runs (handler error cost him one refusal), and in time 7 of 8 runs, despite his great size. Pirate is the only Champion male Dane to achieve the Excellent level (& one of less than a dozen Danes total to be eligible for Excellent B). He holds Rally and Obedience and Therapy Dog titles as well. Also a Group & SBIS winning dog, he is certainly not only well-rounded, but excelling in more than one venue & we are naturally proud of him. And now his get are excelling in all these venues as well.
